9. Desktop Application

The optional Ruyazo desktop application processes data locally on your device and only sends data to us when you trigger a capture. Specifically:

• Screen captures: screenshots and screen recordings (including system audio, if you enable it) are only created when you press a capture hotkey or use the tray menu. The application does not monitor, record or transmit your screen at any other time.
• Uploads: a capture you make is uploaded to your Ruyazo account and is then treated the same as any other upload described in this policy.
• Settings and API key: your server address, API key and preferences are stored only on your own device, in the application's settings file. We store a one-way hash of your API key on our servers so we can recognise it, together with its name and when it was last used.
• No telemetry: the application does not send usage statistics, analytics or crash reports to us.

10. Free Service and Possible Future Charges

Ruyazo is currently free to use and we do not collect any payment or billing information. Because we ask for no payment details, we hold no card numbers, bank details or billing addresses.

The Service may not stay free indefinitely. If we introduce paid plans in the future, we will need to collect additional information in order to process payments, such as billing details handled by a payment provider on our behalf. We will update this Privacy Policy before that happens and notify registered users, so that you can decide whether to continue using the Service. See section 3 of our Terms of Service for the corresponding pricing terms.

11. Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

12. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with this privacy policy.
